Edinburgh Castle

Edinburgh Castle

Today we went to Edinburgh Castle. It was really cool, in the morning my uncle from my mother's side of the family came and we had a nice breakfast and went to catch the train. We just got it on Taxi because actually the train was supposed to go at 9:45 am but it went at 9:37 am and just by seconds we got on. The train journey lasted ages, and my mum accused me for finishing the batteries by playing. I disagree there, I barley played five minuets before my mum took it and chatted, she didn't care how bad the signal was and I think she was talking faster than the train. Which is very true, since the speed of sound can only be broken at the speed of which a aeroplane goes at maximum when its specially designed, but anyway when we got of, it was miles until the castle and we had to walk, my uncle said it was just about less than a mile! When we finally got there it was quite high up, it was windy and the breeze spun my helicopter hat rapidly.

When we got into the castle my uncle gave the tickets and we went in. I was the only one who got a audio guide for £1.50, but obviously you cant keep it. Make note that there is a stair case which I didn't notice, you will need it for later. I listened to the introduction it had really enchanted type as well as mystical music in the background. I listened to loads of things as we went round the castle. We started of at the governors house. I was about to go in happily but then my track came louder (I think it had some sort of signal triggered) and it said "Visitors are not allowed inside because the house is still used as a governments residence." I tried it again by going near a "No entry!" sign but it did nothing, I played something random and tried it, but somehow I typed the number for the area I was in. It was obviously ancient, we made our way up and I kept typing the number of checking the height. I saw signal bars and as i went up, they disappeared so I thought they were signal bars. So that's how it knew what height I was on! I later found out that to don't go in message was all part of the audio track which was being receipted. When we completely got up, I looked at the cannons and there where some AMAZING views. Before I knew it, it was lunch time and I heard the 1 o clock gun being fired. So if you read my diary listen to this. The 1 o clock gun was originally for signally to ships out at sea. It can shoot cannon balls but it is very loud and gives lots of smoke. Once a coincidence happened that a enemy fired and they missed the castle, but it was exactly then the 1 o clock gun was fired because it was 1 o clock and the enemy thought they hit, but the flares escaped, this didn't happen before and the soldiers were worried, but they soon found out. Someone had put a cannonball much like the enemy had fired with there cannonball, the gun had slightly overheated and only threw out some flames. later they didn't find the enemy cannonball, could that have been it, could the enemy's cannonball have gone into the O clock gun? But the gun doesn't fire at Sunday's and Christmas day & eve.

At the other cannons, I heard the track for their history, and just less than 10 seconds, I found myself next to the next cannon looking at the next number, the first wasn't even finished! I soon realised that the track was 3 and a half minuets and the cannons were less than half a meter apart. I listened to all the tracks anyway. If you pressed four you could listen to facts about the one o clock gun and if you pressed 100 you could listen to a lullibye. But if you press 4 then gun fire is at the start and that isnt to loaud but here is what I did:
"Mojtaba (my brother) would you like a nice song?"
"Ok."
"Ok the nice song is you have to type 1 0 0"
(Types 100)
"Now put the keypad down, you listen through the head phones."
(puts down)
(I type 4)
(Quickly press sound up loads of times)
"BOOOOOM"
(He is not hurt, laughing)
(or crying...
                                ...whoops...)
So lets leave that now but I can tell you he was laughing. After all of that we went back down and at the bottom, we realised this staircase...
My mum said we havent been there (remember I told you to remember that stair case)
Before we go on, without going into rooms and stuff, we could get to the top in 35 minuets. We went up the staircase which was 70 steps (According to my audio) and we were at the top in less than a minute. We could have done much more if you went up like that. T

The next train came at 35 (forgot which hour) and that was in an hour. So we went to my dad's side's uncle house. My sister was jumping with joy until we left. She played with us and she got a new toy computer from my other uncle (not my sisters uncle) but then again my other uncle also has a baby girl so I have a sister there to but lets not confuse it. After that we went in a rush to the station and right after we got in the the doors closed, just as the last wheel of the last suitcase. If i had to say, I think the suitcase just got shorter to get in but that dosent happen so lets not mention that. i fell asleep in the train and when I got up the train was epmty. My other uncle that dosent have any children (If your confused tell me in the comments and I will make it clera) was supposed to pick us up but he was at the wrong station. When we finnaly got home, I had the huggest dinner ever. Last full day at Scotland. My holiday is now

OVER (TECHINCALLY)

Fun Day! :-)

Fun Day!
9 August 2013 Friday

Today, is the day after Eid, but it wasn't a normal day. Today I woke up and had a breakfast of cereal. Then I read my book on Python Programming Language and tried some codes out. Then we went to Mosque and after that we got ready to go to the beach. There where nine of us going altogether and one car held five people. We had to go in 2 cars. I was in the car with my Mum, Uncle, Aunty, and my Other aunty. We went to the petrol station where more than two packets of two different chocolates. My Uncle had chocolates already, but he got some flakes. My aunty liked Whispa bites and they where half price and that was what she bought. I liked both so I had both of them. About half an hour later; I rested my head on my aunty's shoulder and I don't know when but I fell asleep. When we got there, I was woken up and was really tired and grumpy. But I woke up fully eventually. We got settled on the beach and changed clothes. It was quite cold, but then got warm (the sun came out) and then the sun vanished again. Me, my dad, my brother and Mum altogether made a really BIG sandcastle, if no one destroyed it it would have stayed there because I made a HUGE really deep ditch so water would go in there and the castle wouldn't be affected. Then there another one my dad made with my brother near the castle. We mad a sort of flag with lolisticks and a circle label we found. Then not even 10 paces far from the main beach was a island of wet sand and there I printed the word 'Mustafa' in big letters with my finger. Surprisingly the time when incredibly fast, although we had been there for just a bit more than three hours.

There was a park across the road with a shining silver slide which curved like a cobra and was very dark. There was a slide next to it, also silver, still curving once but it was' 100% tunnel and was probably for the my aged sort of people. The first one was for teenagers I knew that for sure now because only teenagers went on. then I found that on the other side there was one for my brother, but he didn't want to go on. I went on the small swings, then on the large ones that are also in Palmer Park back in reading. Cable-balance where basically it was like a cable car but there was no car; just a circle that you have to sit on and hang on for dear life! When you start you go super fast, but then you slow down. There was a ice cream stall but it was to cold for ice cream. We didn't stay for long there as we wern't in Glasgow where we where staying. But it was enough to have a go at almost everything. We got back in our car and ate more chocolate and I fell asleep again. About An hour and a half later, we arrived and I was awoken AGAIN and I found out we where having pizza! Instantly, I ran to the door and pressed 1/1 the number of my granddad's house. I ran up the steps on hearing the COME IN buzzer and hear the door click open on the COME IN buzzer noise. When we got upstairs, I took of my coat and my mum noticed I was covered in sand and I had to have a bath, but there was only one bathroom and not everything could go in at the same time. So we had a long Queue before I went in. When I FINNALY got in after half an hour, I had my bath and after that had dinner of pizza. After dinner my aunty showed me the game she had bought that we could play as a whole family, but it was way to late to play it now so we would have to do it the next morning. I wrote my diary and had my milk and brushed my teeth, but when I was coming out, I tripped on a chair that was too pulled out and I tripped and hurt my toe REALLY badly. I had a cold pack but it didn't to much good, I had medicine too and was told in half an hour my toe would feel better. In fact, I feel allot better right now. Then (I will) fall asleep.

Eid day

Eid Day

8th August 2013 August
Today It was Eid! Everyone had got a day off work. Apart from my aunty, her job didn't give her a day off as a result of we having to wait for her to come back before opening any presents. It was fair but I was stuck to choose do be happy :) or sad :( I chose happy :). We had breakfast first, since it was Eid so we had a slightly different breakfast than usual. We had rice pudding and sweet rice. I played on the Nintendo Wii before going with my two uncles, my dad and granddad to the Mosque where we did the special Eid prayer my granddad was hosting/leading. Once that was finished we came back home. I had a quick play on the Wii again before more food.

Next, I played MORE Wii, and when my granddad came to watch the news, I had a quick nap (Not really, I lied about in bed mostly). And then went back to the Wii. My aunty came back incredibly quickly today. All the better, I was only allowed to open my presents when she came. So we started unwrapping and giving out. I got:
  1. A remote control, High preformance helicopter
  2. A £20 note.
  3. Mario Bros. Disc
  4. Python for kids. A book that teaches Python (The programming language the "fun" way)
  5. Two belt clip and pull pens.
  6. Foldable chair
  7. Helicopter hat
  8. Telescope
  9. Science kit
  10. Tshirt
  11. Tshirt
  12. Trousers
  13. Tshirt
  14. Shirt
  15. Tshirt
  16. Braces (NOT the type that you put in your teeth)
  17. Socks
  18. Underpants
That's quit good for one day! Probably over £100 spent there. Thats for sure because the mario bros. disc is £45! And say tshirts and trousers are £10 each, Already over £100!
But before all that happened, between the middle of my LONG wii spending time and this we went to a play erea called wonderland world which was basically a soft play area.

At wonderland world which im going to call WW to save time;
  1. we climbed to the top,
  2. slide down, played hide and seek,
  3. fired balls,
  4. opened trapdoors
  5. And also climbed a moon crater (fake) where a girl wanted to take my photo because she was making a scrapbook of annoying/stupid people and she intented to make me look at her by calling me "Buttface" I barley heard her, she had a voice like a mouse! Serves her right when the whole thing shook and one of her side buttons broke. Ha, it was the power button, the batteries would soon run out then!
Time went so quickly that then it was already time to go then :(
We came back home and well, you know what happened then, Wii until the presents.
